Built on a 19-foot wide lot in Noe Valley, this house was built under the strictest standards of green building technology. An open spatial layout with comprehensive millwork to provide spatial definition combined with a wall of glass on the rear façade, provide the house with significant daylighting and expansive views. While the house utilizes solar electric, solar hot water, radiant heating, recycled denim insulation, fly-ash concrete, and FSC certified cabinets, it also features the first rainwater collection system in a residence in San Francisco. |
