 Originally a small remodel/addition, this house became a complete redesign of a single family home on a hillside site in Burlingame. The new design provides a large open living space taking advantage of views while incorporating transitional elements to delineate space within space. New "found" area carved into the site creates new, non-intrusive usable area. The owner/builder is aggressively committed to green building in a holistic approach - careful decisions were made throughout to maximize daylight, conserve resources, and promote efficiency. |
